Spiritdell is a 2-b0ok Urban Fantasy YA series.

Spiritdell Book 1: Zan and Austin is available now on:
Amazon – Kindle

Zan has girl problems.

Every time he likes a girl, his strange powers prevent him from getting closer.

Then he meets Austin. She seems to like Zan enough to spend a wild night with him, but in the morning, he’s surprised to find his powers don’t work with her. When he tells her he doesn’t see a future for her, she runs out of his house and refuses to see him.

Zan is heartbroken. He’s never felt this way before, and he thinks he may be in love. He’ll do anything to be with Austin.

With the help of his two best friends, who are often more trouble than help, Zan tries to figure out what’s happening with his unusual powers. The three of them go to a secluded lakeside cabin to conduct experiments. Zan is shocked to find his gift still works, and devastated to learn that Austin may be dying.

He consults a psychic for help, and nearly gets himself killed for his power.

Zan withdraws from his friends and from life, until finally, he must seek help from someone he’s been trying to forget—the one who gave him his powers.

Genre: YA Urban Fantasy (some mature PG-13 content)
Book length: approximately 50,000 words or 142 pages

“Zan is a great narrator in that he is the kind of idiot that only a 17-year-old boy can be, but he is still really likable because he doesn’t mean to be completely clueless. Even though a lot of the events were quite serious in nature, viewing them from Zan’s perspective made even the worst problems seem surmountable. Especially in comparison to the horrible fate of having to kiss a smoker with a tongue ring.”
